Music Ministry
St. John Catholic Church English Choir sings each Sunday at the 11:00 a.m. Mass as well as for holiday and Holy Day Masses. The English Choir is under the direction of Karen Greer, director of St. John Music Ministry. Anyone is welcome to join. If you wish to join, please call or visit the church office, or see Karen Greer after the 10:00 Mass.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays @ 7:00 p.m. - End
Warm-up for Mass: Sundays @ 10:00 a.m.
Choir Sings: Sundays @ 11:00 a.m. Mass
Our 5:00 PM Vigil Mass is in dire need of volunteer cantors and pianists/organists. Due to many circumstances, our current cantor list cannot support the need for having music at every Vigil Mass. If you would like to volunteer and become a regular member of this ministry, please call the church office and ask to speak with Karen Greer, Director of Music Ministry! Your generosity in serving Christ in His Mass will not go unnoticed!
During our 5:00 PM Vigil Mass on Saturdays, we have a rotation of cantors that accompany an organist/pianist. If you are interested in being a cantor, please call the church office and ask to speak with Karen Greer, Director of Music Ministry.
