Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist

EM_Homebound.jpg

Ministers to the Sick are commissioned Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist, that visit and offer Holy Communion to all Catholics who are homebound, residents of the nursing homes within our parish boundaries, or those Catholics who are patients at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center!

This ministry is a great way to give back to those who have given so much to our parish. We also welcome ministers to bring other family members (spouse, children, etc.) when delivering the Blessed Eucharist. Please consult the leader of this ministry before bringing children, as some situations do not allow this. Many recipients do not have many visitors, and bringing your child/(ren) with you can bring joy to the recipient as well as teach kids the beauty of Life at all ages!

If you are already a commissioned Extraordinary Minister, please call or visit the church office to discuss volunteering as a Minister to the Sick.

If you wish to become part of this ministry but are not an Extraordinary Minister, please call or visit the church office.

To arrange a visit by a Minister to the Sick for you or a family member, please call the church office!
